One of the most heartwarming events we supported in 2024 was GiGi’s Gala, hosted by GiGi’s Playhouse, a non-profit organization that works to change perceptions of people with Down syndrome. The gala is a celebration of acceptance, empowerment, and positivity, ensuring that every individual receives the respect and opportunities they deserve. GiGi’s Playhouse’s mission resonates deeply with us at LCM Subaru. It aligns with the Subaru Love Promise’s core value of compassion and care for all individuals. We’re honored to have been part of this important event that raises awareness and builds inclusion within our community.A Week Away Foundation: Providing Hope and Rest for Families in Crisis
LCM Subaru also partnered with the A Week Away Foundation, an organization dedicated to giving respite weeks to families battling life-threatening illnesses. The foundation provides these families with much-needed time to recharge, create new memories, and focus on hope rather than hardship. Through Subaru’s Share the Love campaign, we pledged critical financial support to A Week Away Foundation, contributing $28,000 to ensure that these families could take a step back from the daily struggles of illness. We are also a corporate sponsor for the Caleb Walker Golf Tournament, a yearly event that raises money for A Week Away Foundation. We believe in the power of hope, and we’re proud to help provide a moment of peace during difficult times.
Supporting Cancer Patients through Subaru Loves to Care
Under the Subaru Loves to Care initiative, LCM Subaru made impactful contributions to the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute. We donated 80 warm blankets & 50 customer care kits. These small but meaningful items go a long way in showing empathy and care to patients undergoing treatment. Furthermore, through our Love Promise commitment, we donated $7,500 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Pediatric Urgent Needs Program, which directly supports young patients and their families navigating significant challenges.This initiative reflects our belief that no one should have to battle illness alone, and we hope these contributions brought comfort and support to those who need it most.
Spring Fling for Hospice & Community Care
Spring was abuzz with joy and purpose as we sponsored Lancaster’s Hospice & Community Care Spring Fling. This festive event holds a special place in the hearts of many, supporting the bereavement programs provided by the Pathways Center for Grief & Loss. With our support and that of the community, the Spring Fling directly benefited children coping with loss, offering them the resources and compassionate care they need to heal. At LCM Subaru, we’re committed to uplifting every member of our community, especially the younger generation who deserve all the support we can offer.Our commitment to giving back isn’t just about supporting national organizations—it’s about amplifying the work of local communities in Lancaster County. That’s why we proudly supported Manheim Township Band, Warwick Education Foundation, Lancaster Sunrise Rotary, Celebrate Lancaster, Open Streets Lancaster, Elizabethtown Mountain Bike Club, & many more.
